The kid's favouriteSandpit play provides children with many hours of enjoyable play and helps children develop basic skills. A sandpit in the backyard or on the patio will be something your children and their friends will keep playing in year after year.

Four standard sizesMagic Rainbow sandpits come in four standard sizes, but we readily make any size or shape to suit your garden. Our sandpits sit on the ground, are about 300mm high and have a 90mm wide ledge around the top which you can sit on. We supply at least 250mm sand to play in. |
Magic Rainbow designAll our sandpits are lined with weedmat to retain the sand and let water flow out, and have an easily removable cover to keep pets out. Two simple easily removable crossmembers stop leaves and water pooling on the cover. We use all stainless screws and bolts throughout. |

We do everythingWe deliver and install sandpits complete with cover and sand anywhere from Manurewa to Long Bay, Swanson to Howick. If you live further away, call us for options as to how you can have your sandpit delivered. |

Kitsets include everything except sand. Assembly is required but all fittings and clear instructions are supplied. You will need a 4mm allen key and a pozidrive screwdriver. If you don't have these, let us know when you order so we can organise something for you. We also make kitsets to any size.

Deep sandpits for boys that like to dig tunnels
These sandpits are 4 strakes high and have 350mm sand in them. They also have a 140x40 ledge around the top, wider and stronger than the standard sandpits.Note: These are too heavy to go on a deck.

Delivery time
We can normally deliver sandpits within 5 working days. Even the odd sized sandpits can usually be delivered within this time. However, leading up to Christmas the available time slots for delivery always seem more limited. We take advance orders for specific delivery days such as birthdays, and you don't have to pay any sort of deposit to hold that booking day.General Installation
Our sandpits can go on any reasonably level area of ground. They will happily sit on grass, bark, pavers or wooden decking. Allow about 100mm clearance all round to get the cover on and off.If placing on a deck, you may need to limit the sand to about 100mm deep depending on what code your deck was built to. Ring us for more details.
Raised garden beds
Our wooden sandpits can be supplied without liner or cover to provide wooden surrounds for raised garden beds. We can even make removable cold frames to fit over to keep your seedlings from getting frosted.
